Tech billionaire Elon Musk is set to make $45 million per month to a super political action group called the America or Super PAC ensuring Donald Trump‘s victory in the upcoming US elections, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The super PAC has engaged a large number of staff to get Trump elected as President of the United States via voter registration and urging them to request mail-in ballots. This super PAC includes some of Musk's "friends" in the tech industry e.g. co-founder of tech platform Palantir Joe Lonsdale, Antonio Gracias, board director at SpaceX, Ken Howry the co-founder of PayPal and former US ambassador to Sweden during Trump’s first administration, and Shaun Maguire an investor in Musk's close-knit circle reports the New York Times. Other tech entrepreneurs supporters of Trump are cryptocurrency tycoons Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss.
Tesla and SpaceX Musk has formally endorsed Trump’s nomination for the US president following the assassination attempt on the former president. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the owner of the platform stated, ““I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery.”
In 2022, Trump created his personal social media website named ‘Truth Social’ following the suspension of his Facebook and Instagram accounts, along with X. The social platform Meta also announced the lifting of restrictions on Trump’s Instagram and Facebook accounts would be lifted as he is the Republican party’s presidential nominee.
